What is a Digipack?

Definition: a type of packaging for CDs or DVDs, typically made from cardboard with an internal plastic holder for one or more discs.

Deconstructing digipacks plays a key part when creating your own, researching ones which fit our chosen genre of indie rock will help give us inspiration and also supply us with a good understanding of what appeals to our target audience. We can study the codes and conventions to meet the demands of the audience and also successfully advertise the product/band.
